It's coming out to about $220 a day with AAA discount and taxes/fees. I paid about $88 for the day for the SLK.
My concern would be having to get the LDW because my CC doesn't cover the 911, but does cover the Camaro SS and SLK. That would add another 90 a day.
Did you look up your CC coverages? Not sure what card you have but most higher end amex/mastercard/visa has fairly high purchase value for LDW
I'd just keep the SLK and see what you can negotiate into when you get there.
