UA881 ORD-NRT which was supposed to take off at 12:15 today is now delayed until 11:00 tomorow. That's a 22 hour and 45 minute delay. I'm assuming it's related to crew working hours, but wouldn't they have another 772 crew at ORD, a hub?
This is how they are driving up their completion rate, instead of cancelling and rescheduling as an extra section they are simply taking extensive delays. Hurts one measurement (on time) but pads the other (completion rate).
This flight (881) left twice and came back to the gate twice.
