OP is picking up at 10:30p instead of 2:30p so 8 hours late, not 4 hours early. I don't know if there was something about the rates that flipped at 5p that screwed the original booking or not.

I would probably call the agency day of travel and indicate that I'm running late and that my new flight is due in at 10:30p and to please hold the reservation rather than hoping it is still valid 8 hours after I was supposed to pick it up.
