i wont be flying with my friend, i cant make it out to HK later this year so im going to use my miles to buy a ticket for my friend to come see me. should be ok right?

the link says i can add 5 nominees for free, but i can change three per calendar year for $50per person. under that it says i can delete for free. if i delete someone and then add someone else two years later for example, do i still need to pay that fee?
