Differences in Platinum Customer Service
Is it just me or do others find that the Platinum desk reps in Ireland are much more helpful than those in the US. I hate to generalize, but the last few times I have called the Platinum desk and have reached someone, who I assumed was in the US, I have had terrible service (for a missing stay told me to fax my invoice in and wait 4-6 weeks). When I have reached someone who obviously is in Ireland, I have had fantastic service (for the same missing stay, the rep called the hotel directly and added the points to my account).
