Am planning to make a reservation on AC8315 YYC-PDX which is an AC Express/Jazz flight operated with Q400 equipment. The reservations page shows that preferred seats are available for $32 and supposedly these seats offer extra leg room. However, when I look at this aircraft on Seatguru.com it does not show that these seats are any different than the $16 seats. Help please !
Seatguru.com is known to be inaccurate sometimes and is simply not up to date in this case. The Q400 fleet has indeed been retrofitted to include more preferred seats. I would trust AC, not Seatguru. I have sat in a few of those preferred seats and can confirm that Rows 1-3 offer additionnal legroom. I am, however, not sure if the whole fleet has been retrofitted yet.
