Don't know how much time you will have but since SQ377/378 goes to Barcelona with stop in Milan you could technically combine three cities on the same ticket. There are plenty of cheap flights between Amsterdam and Barcelona / Amsterdam and Milan to complete your round trip.

Choices of Accor properties in the centre of Milan and Barcelona are somewhat limited but prices are quite reasonable compared to Amsterdam.
