Well, if you mean peak summer season, LAX, SFO and co are actually far more difficult to get than Florida which is then in hurricane season and with unpleasant sticky weather for much of it, so less in demand than in the winter. In fact, in July-August, LAX, SFO, SAN are probably the worst destinations for awards network wide!
