Unlike (literally) all of the other Hyatt' properties we've stayed at (about 6 since WOH started), The Grand Hyatt Tokyo, in particular, doesn't seem to give Globs their suite upgrade benefit, even when that inventory is easily showing as available. They make up excuses and make you fight for the benefit -- working through a chain of indifferent staff, Supervisors, Duty Managers who'll tell you there is nothing -- while you're trying to check-in after a long flight. You have to complain and, then, the nasty Director of Rooms comes out from her meeting, shames and scowls at you for asking for your benefit. Anyone else with that experience at The Grand Hyatt Tokyo, or elsewhere? This has happened on my last three stays, so a pattern.
