The management company had "a couple of hundred" Hyatt Place-branded hotels in its home US market, with about 100 more in planning and construction around the world, 50 of which were in the Asia-Pacific, Mr [Robert] Dawson [Hyatt VP Pacific] said. "It's a question of finding the right location," he said. "This is the beginning of what we hope will be other destinations in Australia."
