Quick question here.

Booked a ticket on CI through with DL Skypesos in Main Cabin (X). Grabbed my CI PNR from [MENTION=848587]deltaa[/MENTION]ssist and looked up my reservation on CI's website and to select seats.

Lo and behold, the upper deck was available (2-2 old J config), but only from rows 10-11. Rows 6-9 seemed like they were blocked. ExpertFlyer had troubles accessing the seatmap so I couldn't see what was blocked/occupied. Lower deck J and F were not available for selection.

I grabbed 10K and it submitted successfully, and the assignment reflects on DL.com as well.

Is this correct? Does CI normally code any J seats as Y on their 747s? If this assignment sticks, I think getting to sit in an (old) J seat for the Y award ticket price (even though DL just raised it) is good value.
