Got a long email from Oscar just now, apologizing for the incident and explaining their new policies.

Subject line is "Actions Speak Louder than Words."

Essentially a "please continue to fly United" plea.

As a lowly Premier Gold, this is the first email I've gotten since the incident from Oscar. I know the GS people got an earlier email.

Maybe in a couple of months, things will quell down for Oscar and UA.

Then of course there could be a trial. Even if UA settles, if the settlement is too much, that could put Oscar's job in jeopardy.

Even if there's a settlement, Dao could write a book, have a movie made, or just do a bunch of media interviews, with that video playing again.

Oscar is not out of the woods yet by a long shot.
