I'm another huge fan of GPS technology and never drive off without it. London traffic is unpredictable, the road system is complicated, and having the flexibility of rerouting instantly (without fear of getting lost) has saved me considerable time.

Signage across the UK isn't great, so the GPS unit really comes into its own when travelling in rural areas.

Along with my mobile phone and my Tivo, GPS is one of those 'must have' devices that I would never be without.
