What is the minimum connecting time for AZ at FCO, arriving from Boston at 12:45pm, connecting to Naples?

The FCO-NAP flight departs at 2:30pm flight...so that's 1 hour and 45 minutes. Is that enough time? Comfortably? Will I have to change terminals? Arrival is on a Saturday in May.

If I'm on two separate tickets (BOS-FCO-BOS and FCO-NAP), will the airline check my bags through? Also, will they acknowledge this as a connection/complete journey if presented upon checkin in BOS and cover me for a later FCO-NAP flight if I miss my flight to Naples because my flight from Boston is late?
The likelihood of making the above mentioned connection entirely depends on whether your luggage gets checked through from BOS to NAP simply because, failing that (don't get me wrong, essentially I'm unable to see any issues), you would put your NAP connection as significant risk, even though, in the worst case scenario, you would still have plenty of choice with later flights (note, though: AZ wouldn't rearrange you in that respect because of the two separate tickets) or even trains.
