Oh was not aware there was a difference between simple choice and simple choice north america. Does everyone in the USA get the simple choice north america plan?
Anyways I just checked and I do have the Simple choice north america plan. So sounds like it'll be the same as if I was in the USA when using my phone in mexico. However I have only 2GB in USA. Does it become unlimited in Mexico?
T-Mobile has been pushing their One plans that include taxes and fees. Customers on the Simple Choice or Simple Choice North America plans can keep them. I never changed over because I had some grandfathered add-on services that are no longer available, and it's more favorable for me to stay on the original Simple Choice plan.
As for data, I imagine it's the same 2 GB bucket in Mexico. In the worst case, it would throttle until your next billing cycle, but you can take the brakes off and don't have to worry about being on a WiFi signal if you're on the North America plan.
