A point redemption stay will deduct the points and show an entry when the booking is made; it'll say something like "rewards standard" or "points and money standard" and list the points deducted.

After the stay, a line entry with the hotel name will be posted, just like any paid stay. It lists the deducted points again, but those aren't actually deducted again - they were already deducted the first time. I don't have the Citi HH Reserve, but I'm guessing something like this entry is what the OP is seeing?

Certainly could be clearer, though.

And it would help mitigate these issues if HH's online account summary was better about itemizing and presenting important data (e.g., with a starting balance for the period, total points deducted, etc.).
