Has anyone ever had this happen? I had HH Reserve card for which I have Gold Status and earn a 1 free wknd night stay each year after 10K spending. I received my certificate via email and called in to book it at the number provided on the certificate. I booked a one night stay at the El San Juan Hilton in a standard room. No points were deducted at the time (obviously) and I completed the stay on 4/10/17. Only charges shown on my folio at check out were for charges at the hotel. Two weeks later 50K is deducted from my account. In contacting the hotel they told me this was because my stay was a redemption stay and the points were never deducted, but were now?? Who can I contact to get this resolved. When I called HH they just referred me to the hotel. I did not think to keep the redemption cert once my stay was completed as all seem perfectly normal. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
