If it's all true Delta space it should not be a big deal if you call and explain what happened.

IF there is any other airline space, even if DL codes it becomes a nightmare in a hurry.

All DL metal should be a quick fix. 5-20 min depending on how long the wait time is for the CSR to get a hold of a supervisor if they are not trained on manual reissues.

If there is any other space, oh boy, on occasion it's workable with AF/KL. I don't know about VS however. But if you've got a codeshare with someone else it's bad bad news.
