Quick update on my UC flight

I just wanted to say that I had brought a ticket to Hong Kong return using miles, my friend sat in PE.
I had read on here that they would not allow me to bring anybody in unless I had a certain ticket category but this was not the case. We both checked in at the UC desk, and he was given an invititation to the Plaza Lounge. Not sure if this was a one off.
Cabin crew also allowed him to come into the UC section after we had taken off and he was also asked if he wanted to have breakfast at the bar which he did.
I was especially surprised at the breakfast part as UC was very lively.
Great service from the staff!
