Any recent reviews of the Regency at Dulles? I've got to spend two nights in the DC area in a few weeks. Arriving on a Wednesday early afternoon, the plan is to have a quick shower and head into town until after dinner. Friday morning I have an early flight out of IAD. I suspect for the $50 more the Regency in Reston will be much nicer and probably more convenient for heading into DC, but how is it for a 0700 flight out? Thanks
The HR Dulles is a very good hotel-I've stayed there often when I've had very early flights. "D.C." for locals refers to the rather small entity known as the District of Colombia. Most people live in surrounding jurisdictions (e.g., Arlington and Alexandria in Virginia, Bethesda and Chevy Chase in Maryland, etc.) And a drive into "D.C." can take quite awhile. Staying in Reston wouldn't make much difference in travel time.
