But my main question is. Do Swiss service passengers in Business class based on Status Level ?
I presume they do because the service on the flight was such a mixed bag, instead of starting from the front and working their way back through the J cabin, they jumped around the cabin from person to person taking individual orders first, serving those passengers their food and coming to me and a few other passengers and saying there was only 1 option left as they had already served everyone else.
I do not hold any status with LX/LH/SN etc so presume this is what was going on.
Granted I think airlines should appreciate its members, but it just sucked having all the left over food items and feeling like I was some sort of lesser class passenger when flying on a paid J ticket.
I fly ZRH-BKK-ZRH by Swiss about 10 time per year most time in C, some time in F. I observed a lot on the service from Swiss.
In C, the order of the main dish has been taken row by row before the flight taking off. So I never been informed that the choice was not available.
It's right that i also obsered that the special meals are served first. Sometimes my main dish comes later but it comes as I ordered.
As a SEN or HON, you receive greeting from Purser, but I did not feel that will have much impact on been served fast, but do has impact on a free upgrade.
For me the service from Swiss is still the best among my experience.
