RR bookings for 2 pax: separate PNRs, but not always?
I'm not terribly familiar with WN, although have lots of RR points due to transfer from Chase. I recently booked 2 one-way RR free tickets for myself and wife. For the outbound (one way) booking, although I stated it was a party of two, and it displayed space to enter two names on the same page, as well as correctly charging 2X RR points, the reservation ended up on two separate PNRs, with 2 separate confirmation emails. For the return trip (again, a one-way booking), made the identical entries, and this time both names are on the same singe PNR, with one confirmation email. What's going on here?
