Just got back from my first real visit to Vancouver (I was there for Expo in '86 which doesn't really count and once in June '73 with my parents, so that doesn't really count )

Found it very easy to get around -- we bought Compass cards at the airport station and used them for the 4 days we were there, including the return trip to the airport. Between the Translink app and Google maps we had no problems getting around.

I have (US) T-Mobile so I had free wireless data -- though slow it worked well enough to get around. Only hitch was the "Sun Run 10K" on Sunday caused some changes in bus service around Stanley Park.
