It really depends on when you arrive at IAH. Immigration lines can easily be 90 minutes at peak times.
I would not book this one without GE. It will be a forced overnight if there's a miss.
And the last time I did UA international arrival at IAH, customs wasn't a problem.....it was the fact that UA, on a day with virtually no ops issues and no real heavy travel load...took it upon themselves to deliver the check on bags to the customs baggage collection area (that you must pick up your bags before connecting) a full NINETY-THREE minutes after landing. The entire plane was sitting at the bag claim for 70 minutes plus.
