71D has no seat in front of it hence the addition legroom/charge. This is due to an emergency escape hatch from the crew rest area. As such, in cruise the area has to be left clear of bags/makeshift foot rests. It is slightly narrower as the tray table and IFE are housed in the seat frame, the same as any exit row or bulkhead. It does have some other nifty advantages such as the screen and tray table in the back of 69D which can be used in addition to your own. (Although there is no sound and the person in 70E would obviously need to get in and out during the flight) The recline on last rows on the QF A380 fleet in my opinion is the same as every other seat. While there is a bulkhead behind, there are stowages down low that mean the actual seats are set forward of that bulkhead. The seat back is above these stowages so the bulkhead doesn't appear to impact recline. For non extra legroom seats I reckon they're a good choice as no one behind means you can keep your seat reclined except for TTL, even during meals. I'd avoid the very last row main deck and DEF on the upper deck though.
