That is the better solution already.

There are enough airlines, who don't really care about their status members. From my point of view the market also needs some airlines who cares.

Everyone is free to get the SEN or HON status by flying enough miles to qualify for it. That is the right way to please everyone.

If you are a full-fare customer and fly with LX (or most of the other *A carriers) regulary, you will qualify for SEN easily.

Btw: Throne seats are available for everyone for an extra fee. SEN/HON don't have to pay that fee.
