Truphone is as bad as Tracfone as the time expires after 90 days and once the phone has no more time, the SIM becomes useless, requiring me to get another one. Piranha Mobile only seems to have a UK telephone number.
I guess I'll continue to stick with Tracfone.
I pay an annual fee to keep the SIM alive. For example I pay the annual fee to Toggle Mobile for a US Permanent virtual for that purpose. I would love a roaming SIM tied to a good soft client that could let me use the number via that client via data-- much like Google does with ProjectFi
