Ran into a similar scenario to this trying to pay with Chase. Couldn't get the transaction to go through with multiple cards. I called in and was quoted a price that wasn't showing on the website and was significantly more expensive. Decided to hang up and try other options. Tried a Citi Mastercard and got it to go through.
were you using a bank that wasn't available in Thailand? I don't think they work with the TG website.
