Sure enough, when traversing through said cell, we hit some turbulance, just mild though. Is a larger plane (we were on a 744) more or less susceptible to turbulence?
Anyhow, upon touchdown, and leaving the airport, i saw at least 20 planes lined up for takeoff. Weather conditions were just overcast.
Crosswinds took ORD from 4 runways down to 2 yesterday (or so we were told). ORD went to a ground stop around 4:00 CDT but I don't think it lasted for long - flying into ORD, when we were ready to push they notified us of the stop and we were told to expect a wheels up in 2 hours and then 10 minutes later they cleared us. Although en route they then threw us into a pattern for roughly an hour(?)
