I already have this as #2 in SHIB's Inviolable Rules of Air Travel (#1 being: Always pack an extra day's underwear... ), but it is good to periodically reaffirm the resolve.
I've had to learn #1 the hard way over the years. It's now firmly ingrained in my way of life, but I wish it had been delivered as a laminated card in my first elite package years and years ago.
