Help with 'trip in vain' during IROPs
Hi FT, I need your input with a simple IROP question:
After a series of rolling relays, my flight yesterday departed around 1hr 25mins late due to late arriving equipment from a MTC issue upstream.
This caused me to miss the dinner meeting in ATL I was commuting to so I did not board and just went home. Airport in FL was crazy and 4 hours waits on the phone to speak to someone. (For what it’s worth, this was the return portion of a roundtrip originating out of ATL)
Is this a “trip in vain”? Or is there another mechanism I can use to ask for a refund? If so, how should I go about requesting that refund?
