My wife's friend is a cabin manager (or host/hostess supervisor?) so a level above hostess. She put our passport details on her list this year and said she'd be happy for us to use it.

Obviously when someone does something nice for you, you don't want to then bombard them with questions.. I was wondering if anyone knew the answers to the below questions:
1) She mentioned there were ID50, ID90 and 'specials' that we might be able to get - it sounded like specials were underbooked off season flights that internal emirates staff get to put family/friends on at a discounted fare. Does anyone know what that would refer to?
2) Can you book J or F using the ID90 or ID50 discounts?
3) Do any skywards miles credit on these ticket types?
4) If you use say, an ID90 to book the base economy fare, can I use skyward points to upgrade us into a better cabin?

Thanks in advance!
My folks get discounted tickets from time to time through a friend who is EK office staff at DXB. Not sure if they're ID50 or what, but they're confirmed (not standby) J class and much cheaper than purchased J class, even considering special offers (but this is what they told me verbally, I've not checked actual prices for each). Confirmed and ticketed 90 days prior to departure.

No ground benefits, no miles, no upgrades, and no relevance of their Skywards Gold status.
