I do not have travel needs in near future. I looked it up on Amex website and for statement credit it looks like they give you 0.6 cents/mile and gift card varies from 0.5 to 0.8 cents/mile. Am I missing something? Is there any way you can get 1 cents/mile either in cash or gift cards? Next year there is going to be fee on premier rewards points, not sure of the miles expire right away when you close the credit card. If not I may hold the miles and redeem it towards travel. Also can the family member consolidate /transfer points?
