JFK arrival at 4:30 - 5:00, if you're lucky. Even if you cross into Brooklyn from Staten Island at 4:00, you'll hit eastbound traffic at that hour.
If you're departing with a seat upfront, vs economy, your biggest issue will be the security line at Kennedy. If your seat is in coach, try to fly out of your home airport earlier, as was suggested above.
