The highlighted part is not consistent with my experience with Eldan.

The agent couldn't care less that I had a letter from my credit card issuer confirming that they provided "Worldwide Car Rental Protection" for theft or damage and for loss of use. He did not want to see it. He just told me that if I declined to purchase the loss (damage) damage waiver coverage, he'd charge a larger deposit; it ended up being just an authorization.
