I agree !

IMHO it's not about race/origin or whatever . If they decide to refuse ALL KE paxs , it has nothing to do with you

I guess this is a local issue rather than not applying a global policy

Staff was told to do so because of their management , i guess its also because JFK lounge can be pretty crowded with other ST pax (KE, DL , AZ , SU and so on) then AF paxs cant use the lounge the company prepared for them , which is understandable , but in the end customers dont have to suffer the lack of intelligence of managers

Also dont forget that even if its an AF lounge , the operations may be managed by a 3rd party

Ultimately this should be adressed to ST's management , but as AF is a leader so i guess it would be a waste of time

There is a more or less similar issue in Russia , an internal dispute between airlines about lounges, if i remember well they in DL's elite members are not accepted in SU's lounges anymore because DL doesnt want to pay SU
