FWIW, the Terraces lounge at LGW is far superior to its counterpart at LHR T1. Bright, spacious, spread out, even if the food and drink can be a long walk.

I am AA Plat, and when checking in at AA at LGW (flying in Y) was given a voucher by AA for use of the lounge.
