My wife = pescatarian+chicken
Do I need to select a special meal request or will she be okay with Japanese?
We're flying J class and I just want to avoid red meat for her ticket. She doesn't "need" a vegetarian meal however.
ALSO: Why can't I request my wife's meal in advance? I booked her award ticket through my account. She's registered as my spouse. I was able to select 'Japanese meals' for both of my inbound/outbound tickets, but I'm only seeing the option to select special dietary meal requests for hers. The standard 'Pre-Order Meal Service' which allows you to choose between Japanese/Int'l cuisine is blocked out for some reason. I'm guessing it has something to do with the ticket being under her name which is preventing me from making selections from my account, but it just seems weird and makes no sense. Do I really have to call ANA and wait on hold for 20 minutes in order to do this?
