With the Boardrooms refusing to take PP, I have considered purchasing a Boardroom membership (especially for when I fly out of the N gates) but the fact that the food offerings are so lackluster, I can't bring myself to do it. Especially when I have Skyclub membership and AMEX Centurion lounge access.
The food items are unlikely to change, especially if revenue declines due to no more PP and Lounge Buddy visits...I really do think AS is simply trying to create a less crowded oasis for their own lounge membership and given the changes that are taking place, it looks like that's going to happen. There were a few folks on this forum who mentioned that they complained about how crowded the lounges were getting so I'm sure this is at least partly in response to that feedback.
