The plane that flies that route changes daily. Over a 30 days period there seems to be a 4-5 times frequency per month. What you need to know to gamble figure your risk level is how many of LGW based 772s have updated systems. I don't know that info but seems the 00:35 departure from MAD would be more conducive to sleep over a 11:55 departure from LGW.
