If that ends up being the case, definitely going to be a bummer for me. I've been rebooked on AA at least a dozen times in the past year and in some cases, it's saved me a ton of time versus waiting for the next UA flight. Frequent CLT traveler so it's nice having the AA hub as my backup when anything UA gets messed up...
