I think if you were originally willing to spend the incremental miles for J, I say go for it. The $125 change fee is not great but Y to J is a huge upgrade. Just curious, is this the HND-JFK flight?

So award space nonstop in ANA Business just popped up for 75,000 miles. If I change my existing fight...UA would take the extra 40,000 miles from my account apply the 35,000 Miles I already "spent" for the economy ticket for a $40 fee plus $125 change fee.
Do you guys/gals think this is a good redemption or should I just stick to the original plan and use the remaining miles another time?
