First of all, my role as an ambassador is irrelevant so I'll ignore that.

Second, I read your post as a suggestion to the OP that he submits his boarding cards to BA in the hope of receiving ORC but your situation and his are completely different. You flew re-routed itineraries; he flew ... nothing. I agree with you that ORC on BA should be doable in your situation (I've done it myself) but it has no bearing on the OP's situation.
