My understanding though is that skin cancers like melanoma are far more genetically determined than simple UV exposure, as migrants inherit their background risk, not the risk of the county they migrate to. SCC's and BCC's on the other hand (much more common and arguably easier to treat) are very closely related to UV exposure, explained in part due to the preponderance of them found on the head, neck, face and hands.
