My "business" is 1.5-2k/mo in travel reimbursement and also a side business reselling computer parts on ebay (maybe 3k/yr). I'm below 5/24 and never been denied for a CC in the past so this is potentially a new experience for me.
I had BRM apply for me as well which went to 2 weeks. It was approved later that day or next day. I think they are just too busy.
Generally if you are under 5/24 and dont have glaring issues with your credit, you should be fine.
