OK ... now that's an interesting reason. Anyone know of any other places that accept VISA debit but not VISA credit cards?
I recall certain cab companies in Australia used to have "no VISA" signs in their cabs but they would accept VISA "EFTPOS" (i.e. atm/check) cards. However those cab companies have since settled their dispute with VISA.
Of course when I ran into places that wouldn't accept my BofA Alaska VISA I used to just use my BofA Alaska Air Mastercard instead as I carried both. But unfortunately BofA/Alaska has since killed off their Mastercard affiliation.
