Now a good time to apply for AMEX Business Gold?

I just met the minimum spend on my SPG Business card to receive the 35,000 SPG points (I spent $8,000 in about 10 days... no MS!)

I'm looking for a card with a hefty sign up bonus for my next month's expenditures.

I can't get any of the revolvers since I'm still within the 2/90, so I figured I'd get a charge card.

The Business Plat looks enticing, but waiting til it comes with a higher bonus (100,000 in the future?). The Business Gold seems to be decent with 50,000 bonus and I can meet the minimum no problem, and the AF is waived the first year.

Should I just apply for the Business Gold now, or wait til a better sign up bonus comes? Has there been better offers in the past for this card?
