More than anything else, I care about the seat. I care about how comfortable it is, and it being lie flat can make a huge difference for me.
I'm chronically ill, in chronic pain, and disabled. Flying cattle class even for four hours means severe pain and a few days to a week of recovery from the flight. A longer flight naturally results in a much longer recovery time for me. Flying in J means not much more pain than usual, and perhaps a day or two of recovery for even a 12 hour or longer flight.
We've flown J only a few times, all with at least one end in Asia. Sri Lankan airlines generally has excellent customer service. It's nice, but not extremely important to me. As long as I get where I need to go, someone's bad attitude probably isn't going to ruin my day.
