Why mass terminal replacement? It's a simple change to the routing logic. Also, my understanding is that for EMV it doesn't matter at all as the chip application is all that matters not the account number (thus why foreign Diner's Club cards work at all Discover chip merchants but not so much swipe).

As for EMV compliance, two more to add if people can confirm other locations:

Justice - MX915s - contactless disabled. PIN enabled and seems to be quick chip enabled. Very strange transaction flow. PIN then "remove card" then "amount okay?" then "authorizing". Extremely unsettling and confusing and if they can get this working why not do contactless!

Rue21​​​​​​​ - MX915s - contactless enabled. No AID information on the receipt BUT my MBNA Amex worked which usually declines at MSD mode merchants. Odd...
