Did you try the Baron de Rothschild Blanc de Blancs or stick to the LP? I've never had the BdR but its pricing is more in line with what you would expect in F, as compared to the LP which is a business class Champagne at best. Very sad they are no longer serving Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill.
if you're willing to have a bit detour for cherry blossom, head to Fuji or Takayama. they're still in peak.
